The Role
We’re looking for a versatile and proactive Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll develop and execute marketing strategies that will help grow the business and nurture client relationships. This is a hands-on, creative role where no two days are alike!
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Attraction & Retention: Develop and manage campaigns aimed at attracting new clients while engaging and retaining existing ones.
• CRM & Automation: Build out automations in our CRM system to enhance marketing workflows and improve client communication.
• Content Creation: Write engaging blog posts, newsletters, and social media content that speaks to our audience.
• Social Media & Digital Marketing: Oversee and grow our presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. This includes managing paid ad campaigns and optimising posts to drive engagement.
• Video & Graphics Editing: Create and edit video content for use across our website, social channels, and client communication.
• Event Management: Organise and run client-facing events such as seminars and networking opportunities. You’ll also represent the firm at events to build relationships.
• Referral Partners & Strategic Alliances: Build and strengthen relationships with referral partners and strategic alliances to expand our network and drive client acquisition.
• Campaign Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of marketing activities, including ROI, lead generation, and client engagement metrics.
• Brand Management: Ensure all materials, content, and campaigns are aligned with the IN Accountancy brand values and voice.
What We’re Looking For:
• Multi-skilled marketer: You have experience across various marketing channels – from digital and content to events and CRM.
• Hands-on experience: You thrive in a small business or start-up environment where you take ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion.
• Creative problem solver: You’re innovative and able to think outside the box to engage clients.
• Organised multitasker: Excellent at managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communicator: You can distil complex topics (such as accounts and tax) into simple, easy-to-understand language that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Understanding of accounts and tax: A basic knowledge of accounts and tax is a bonus, but not essential.
• AI and automation: You have experience harnessing AI tools and streamlining marketing processes to drive efficiency and improve results.
• B2B experience: Experience in professional services or B2B marketing is essential.
• Digital-savvy: You have a strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, social media tools, and basic graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite). Experience with CRM systems and tools such as LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator is a definite plus.
• Event Planning: You know how to run client events from planning and marketing to execution and follow-up.

- Accountability for Portfolio of ca £500k of recurring business
- Reviewing BK, VAT, Year-end work
- Managing and running client meetings
- Running and managing client remuneration and tax planning meetings
- Delivering advisory services to clients as required
- Support the Digital Solutions and MD Team to drive through new systems, software and processes
- Upsell bookkeeping and advisory to clients and upskill team to do the same
- Introduction and implementation of appropriate software to enhance our service and offer
- Management and development of key individuals
- New business winning – converting leads to clients
- Networking to generate new business opportunities
